Advised to take 10,000 iu of vitamin a?

But all the tablets I have looked at have the doasge of each tablet in mg! Help!

  1. I think a mg of vitamin A is about 2900-3000 iu. So about 3 mg should be 10,000 iu.

    Every vitamin has a different weight, so that iu to mg conversion will not work for any other vitamins, only A:)

    Also- don't take 10,000 iu of vitamin A regularly, I think occasionally its OK but that is too much for daily use because A is not water soluble.
