The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 boss revealed that his troops are looking forward to claim a good result at De Kuip Stadion, while admitting that the Rotterdammers have the potential to cause problems for any side playing in the Eredivisie.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 Eindhoven head coach, d**k Advocaat, has expressed confidence ahead of his side’s upcoming Eredivisie clash against their bitter rivals, Feyenoord Rotterdam, at De Kuip Stadion on Sunday, February 24.
The Dutch trainer has stressed that his side is gunning to beat the Rotterdammers in their own backyard, while insisting that his troops are fully prepared to take on Ronald Koeman’s side.
“We would love to beat them and open up a nine-point gap. We know their strengths but there’s no fear”, Advocaat said while talking to journalists in the pre-match press conference.
The veteran Dutch tactician went on to admit that the atmosphere in De Kuip Stadion has always remained fantastic, and his troops will look to enjoy themselves and claim a good result.
“The lads will relish the chance to play in De Kuip with its tremendous atmosphere. It will be a great experience for them. There´s no fear, though. Fear is always a bad advisor”, Advocaat added.
The Rotterdam giants have not lose a single game in front of their home crowd since their 0-1 defeat at the hands of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/NEC-c40018 Nijmegen in November 2011, and the club would be keen to retain their unbeaten record.
“We are aware of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258´s potency but we will play our own attacking game of football. We would love to beat them and open up a nine-point gap”, Advocaat added.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Georginio-Wijnaldum-c14629 would be starting the game at the centre of the park to fill in for the
former AC Milan midfielder.
Advocaat has made it clear that he does not face any selection headaches due to suspension.
“We have a large squad and other players will be given an opportunity to shine”, the Dutch trainer concluded.
