The former Borussia Monchengladbach boss revealed that he warned his side about the potential threat of Nacer Chadli and Dusan Tadic, while adding that his side deserved to bag all three points.
“We were wary of the threat posed by Chadli and Tadic. With Manolev constantly on the overlap to attack, Chadli could never produce goal threat. We more than deserved the win today”, Advocaat concluded.
Following the impressive victory, PSV have reclaimed the top spot on the league table.
The Dutch trainer will be hoping that his side keep their position atop intact until the end of the season to lift the Eredivisie title.
