The Eindhoven giants will take on the newly promoted Eredivisie side in the KNVB beker Cup semi-final game on Wednesday night, and the former Russia boss has expressed confidence that his side will manage to emerge victorious.
PSV Eindhoven manager, d**k Advocaat, has expressed complete confidence about getting a good result ahead of his side’s KNVB beker Cup semi-final clash against PEC Zwolle at IJsseldelta Stadion on Wednesday, February 27.
The Boeren are heading into the game on the back of a hard fought 2-1 defeat at the hands of Feyenoord Rotterdam at De Kuip Stadion in a league encounter on February 24.
And the Dutch trainer has urged his troops to put behind their defeat against the Rotterdammers, and set their sights on winning the upcoming Dutch cup game.
“We must move on from the 2-1 defeat at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258. We are fully focused on what we have to do. Tomorrow night’s game is another big game for us”, Advocaat said while talking to the media in the pre-match press conference.
The Dutch trainer went on to admit that the upcoming match will not be a walk in the park for his troops, as the Zwolle outfit posed a genuine threat in both of his side’s Eredivisie encounter in the ongoing 2012/13 season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 cruised to a hard fought 1-2 win over PEC in October 2012, but suffered a disappointing 1-3 defeat at Philips Stadion earlier this year.
“We met them twice this season in the league and they presented formidable opposition on both occasions. For them, it is also a great opportunity to reach the Cup Final. It will certainly not be a walk over”, Advocaat added.
The veteran Dutch tactician further added that he will field the strongest possible side for the Dutch cup semi-final encounter against PEC to ensure that they cruise to the final without any hiccups.
“We will field the strongest possible team, unless players are bothered by minor injuries. We won’t make any tactical changes but stick to our game plan”, Advocaat concluded.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 boss will be hoping that his side puts in their 100 percent on the pitch, and claim a comfortable victory at the end of 90 minutes.
