In the second friendly match ahead of Euro 2012, Russian national team were held to a goalless draw by Lithuania on Tuesday. Russia have recorded another draw after they failed to win against Uruguay at Lokomotiv stadium on Friday.

to replace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vyacheslav-Malafeev-c36502.
In aftermath of the outcome, Advocaat has urged his side to win the last friendly match against Italy in a bid to find the winning form ahead of the European tournament. He has conceded that Russia have a lot of potential and assured
the fans of getting better before they face Czech Republic on 8th June.
“To play well against a team like Lithuania you must be 100 percent ready. We were missing it today, therefore we had problems. I see this game as a good training exercise. We did a lot of things wrong, hopefully we will learn
from them for our next game.” The UEFA Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Speaking on Roman Shirokov’s latest injury, Advocaat is of the belief that the Russian midfielder will recover from the minor injury before the start of the continental tournament.
The former Netherland coach had to call http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Igor-Semshov-c16748 from the bench in place of Shirokov on the 71st minute, after the 30-year-old had felt pain in his right foot.
“How serious is the injury? I do not think what happened to him will be something serious. I have not seen him after the game. So, I will talk to him at the hotel.” Advocaat concluded.
