Aegean Bullet installed 9-4 favourite for Ken Campbell Sprint at Oxford
Aegean Bullet has been awarded with the highest starting price for the Ken Campbell Sprint, to be held at Oxford on Thursday, March 29, 2012. The black dog earned a lot of respect following his recent good performances.
He alongside five other runners will start proceedings at 20:15 GMT. The 250 metres flat heat carries a cash prize of £150, which will be handed to the best performer.
Aegean Bullet was not impressive last time out, as he finished fourth on the list. However, nobody can forget his wonderful performance in February, when he sealed first position by 1¾ lengths. He just made a good solo outing and thus, one can expect him
to deliver a fine performance tonight.
Another hound with fair chances is Bright Mac. Out of his last five outings, the black dog tasted success twice. Although he has a tradition of getting inconsistent time and again, one cannot take anything away from him. His last triumph came on March 17,
when he beat Tictac Gold by three quarters of a length.
Pomphrett is also expected to do some damage. The black dog won three of his last five races. Despite the fact that he could not unleash the best of his talent last time around, nobody can afford to take him lightly for today’s event. He sealed his last
victory on March 18, when he outsmarted Millridge Major by three and a quarter lengths.
Finnside Scolari was runner-up in his previous heat. The blue dog has been performing decently over the last few weeks, but victories seem to have dried up for him. Hence, T. Kibble’s needs some luck o turn things around. Similarly, Kilmalady Biffo needs
a slice of luck. The trainee of K. Hutton remained unlucky in his last race, as he missed top slot by a head distance.
The stats show that Aegean Bullet and Bright Mac are the strongest contenders for the top spot. However, Kilmalady Biffo’s class cannot be ignored. He might sneak in and stun everyone with his splendid effort. Bettor.com wishes best of luck to everyone.
