Do they still have the cheek to describe themselves as the national airline?

  1. Having traveled loads with Ryanair and Aerlingus over the past few years I know who I'd rather have as my national airline (if only in name).

As far as I know they don't use that slogan anymore it's 'low fares way better.'

I fail to see the problem with selling off part of Aerlingus. It's done what it set out to do, save the company and make it profitable again.  If Aerlingus wasn't privatised when it was it would have died years ago.

  2. u better believ it....

  3. They're a bloody disgrace! Even their air hostesses aren't as good lookin anymore. And now thay have the temerity to charge you for a drink as well!

  4. i dont no i have never traveled with them and i go to Ireland nearly every year!!

  5. I thought they were. Are they that bad?

EDIT: Oh, I thought you meant they were a rubbish airline. Well, British Airways is fully privatised now, but is still described as our national airline/flag carrier.
