He finished 3rd in the Betfair Graduation Chase, which was held at Haydock, on 21st January, 2012.
The 10-year-old gelding is trained by Neil Mulholland is showing progression in his performance and form.
Aerial, son of Turgeon, out of Fille formidable, secured a victory in the closing race of 2011.
He defeated Giorgio Quercus by 10 lengths, in the Shawbrook Bank Graduation Chase, which took place at Ascot, on 17th December, 2011.
His seasonal debut was less impressive as the 6-year-old gelding finished in 4th place.
He chased the leaders at a good pace but there was never a winning possibility for him in the Grade 3 Murphy Group Chase Handicap, held at Cheltenham, on 28th January, 2012.
Araldur, trained by Alan King, has been falling short of expectations. He finished in 6th place in the Grade 3 Murphy Group Chase Handicap, at Cheltenham, held on 28th January, 2012.
Pasco managed to secure a placed position in his first race of the season. The son of Selkirk, out of Palena, showed improvement from last year, much to the satisfaction of his trainer, Paul Nicholls.
He was defeated by Consigliere and Minella Theatre in the Bathwick Tyres Handicap Chase, held at Wincanton, on 7th January, 2012.
Fix The Rib also secured a placed position in his seasonal debut.
The 9-year-old son of Dr. Massini, out of Hot Curry, finished 3rd in the William Hill – Home Of Betting Handicap Chase, at Kempton, on 14th January, 2012.
Fine Parchment, son of Presenting, out of Run For Cover, finished 5th in the aforementioned race, the William Hill – Home Of Betting Handicap Chase, at Kempton, on 14th January, 2012.
Aerial enjoys the status of race favourite in this race. His popularity in the market is increasing and the bookmakers and punters are taking a keen interest in him. His winning odds have been calculated as 4 to 1.
With odds of 7 to 1, Fine Parchment and Pasco have a possibility of finishing in second.
The third place finish is anyone’s game but Mad Max looks like the likely contender.
