Aero Joker determined to upset Airforce Spirit in London Road Stayers at Romford
Alongside London Road Marathon, London Road Stayers is highlight of Romford’s Friday card. The 575 metres flat heat will get underway at 22:26 GMT.
A cash prize of £175 is reserved for the best performer. Among the entries are: Aero Joker, Munster Champ, Boca Grande, Airforce Spirit and Bridge Jane.
The aforementioned line-up is mighty dangerous. However, the real clash will be between Aero Joker and Airforce Spirit.
The latter is aiming to continue his winning journey while Aero Joker has an objective to get back to the winning ways. Both hounds are h**l-bent to fancy their chances and thus, an electrifying contest is on the cards.
After eight back to back wins, Aero Joker completely lost her direction. In last two races, she was below par, finishing fourth and fifth respectively.
Although her last couple of poor performances made her fans embarrassed to some extent, the memories of her winning streak are still fresh. She does not need anything special to bounce back, as all she needs is to give her best shot.
However, it will be uphill task for her to grab first position. Airforce Spirit has been giving his rivals no respect over the last few weeks.
On March 20, the greyhound racing fans saw him accomplishing his hat-trick in style. He sealed top slot by six and a quarter lengths.
The white and black dog really has the bit between his teeth. It will be extremely hard for even the likes of Aero Joker to stop his way.
Out of others, Munster Champ looks the most dangerous hound. The black and white dog recently showed what he can do with his rivals on his day.
On March 23, the trainee of M. Wallis was at his best, as he nabbed top position by three lengths. In an attempt to create an upset, Fabulous Fleur will have to be clever in early stages of the competition.
According to the bookies, today’s event is an ideal opportunity for Aero Joker to bounce back. However, it will not be a straightforward trip for the b***h, who looked out of colour last time around.
