Aero Joker to hit sixth in a row in the Peter Bussey Memorial Trophy Final on 18th February
The Peter Bussey Memorial Trophy Final which is to be raced over 540 metres is being held at Crayford on Saturday, 18th February. The open race offers £2,000 prize money for the hound that gets through the wire in the least possible time.
The hound with incredible credentials for the race is Aero Joker, Pacific Mile’s white black daughter out of b***h Free To Air. She is unbeaten since her last five starts through the seven races that she has participated in the 2012 season. The Final is her eighth attempt of the new season.
Aero Joker won the Peter Bussey Memorial Trophy Trial Stakes on 4th February. She raced the 540 metres track in 33.84 seconds and took away the £150 prize money. She beat the 6/4 favourite of the race, Ballymac William.
Under the training of Mark Wallis, she won the first heat of the Peter Bussey Memorial Trophy on 11th February. Aero Jack was entered as the 5/4 favourite for the race.
Stretching the streak to six might be just what the trainer has in mind for his top of the line b***h.
Another highly competent hound in the lineup is the three-year-old, Razldazl Billy’s black daughter out of b***h Ballymac Floss, Ministry Millie. She has sustained her ranking to nothing below the runner up’s position in the last four races, out of which two have been victories.
After winning an open race on 25th January as a 4/6 favourite, Ministry Millie shared the second slot with Coolavanny Jane in a dead heat in the Peter Bussey Memorial trophy Trial Stakes on 4th February. The race was won by Aero Joker.
On 11th February, Ministry Millie won the Peter Bussey Memorial Trophy – Heat 3 by clocking the 540 metres distance in 34.08 seconds.
Boca Grande, the three-year-old black dog was successful in the second heat of the Peter Bussey Memorial Trophy on 11th February. He raced the distance in 34.26 seconds. He accomplished this against the evening’s favourite, Bubbly Ebony who was positioned second in the race.
The hounds have been racing against one another lately and who gets to claim this race will not take long to become news.
