Aero Lillie looking confident to win Birthday Trophy
Aero Lillie is leading the betting market for the high-profile Open Race of Martine Hill 40th Birthday Trophy which will take place at Hove racecourse on Thursday night, March 29.
The D. Childs-trained black b***h is geared up to outplay her five potential rivals including Hats My Lady, Zenas Star, Agincourt Cilla, Drumcrow Sofie and Swift Tigress.
Containing £150 of prize money, the contest will commence at 21:40 (GMT). A Flat track of 515m is ready for the mega marathon.
Aero Lillie started her career in January 2012. She elegantly earned a runner-up rank in her very second start on February 7.
During the second month of the calendar year, the daughter of Ace Hi Rumble out of Droopys Darjina bagged a couple of races.
Thus, these three marvellous performances have perked up the novice runner’s confidence level to a great extent. She is carrying immense momentum at the moment.
If she manages to capitalise well on her inherent racing capabilities, her chances to finish first in tonight’s showdown can be as high as 90 percent.
However, some of the other runners like Agincourt Cilla and Drumcrow Sofie can give the hot favourite hound enough tough time on the track.
Agincourt Cilla bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs during January 2012. In the third month of the calendar year, the D. Puddy-trained blue b***h earned two runner-up ranks coupled with an epic success in a row.
On the other hand, Drumcrow Sofie achieved a 1-lenght clean victory in the second outing of her career on March 10, 2012. The trainee of D. Whitton moved forward to finish second each in the two subsequent races.
Thus, both these young hounds are carrying a lot of fighting spirit which is not a good omen for Aero Lillie.
