Aero Majestic cruises to victory in the Coral Stayers Open Race
Aero Majestic took a comfortable victory in the 575 metres Coral Stayers Open Race at Romford on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. He was the favourite to win and certainly lived up to his reputation. The cash prize for the triumphant greyhound was £500.
The M A Wallis trained dog has been performing decently in recent times and that earned him a starting price of 4 to 6. A lot of bettors would have earned some easy money with the victory of Aero Majestic.
The start of the race was a very good one for the favourite hound. He capitalised on that, completing the distance in 34.99 seconds, after breaking in from trap number two. He was the only one to clock a time inside the 34 seconds barrier.
Aero Majestic is the son of Hondo Black out of Rough Illusion, and was born in July, 2009.
Coolavanny Jane finished the race in a distant second position, after popping out from trap number three. She was completely unable to match the speed of the race winner and completed the total distance in 35.65 seconds. Her starting price was 7 to

The K J Findlay trained b***h is the daughter of Razldazl Billy out of Ballymac Floss, and was born in September, 2009.
Razldazl Zamba took the third place, completing the race distance in 35.69 seconds, after breaking in from trap number five. His starting price was 12 to 1, and he was trained by R J Holloway.
The third placed greyhound is the son of Razldazl Billy out of Razldazl Pearl, and was born in April, 2008.
Fourth place was taken by Westmead Bolt, trained b N Savva. He had a starting price of 11 to 2, and covered the race distance in 35.73 seconds, after going in from trap number four.
Westmead Bolt was born in November, 2007 and is the son of Droopys Scolari out of Mega Delight.
Hee Haws Montana and Bridge Jane were unable to make an impression in the race and finished in the bottom two places respectively.
This race was completely dominated by Aero Majestic, who did not allow anyone to come close to him. He was the favourite and the bettors would have earned some easy money on him.
