Aero Trojan to prevail in the Romforddogs.com Standard
The Romforddogs.com Standard will be competed by six versatile hounds on Friday, 17th August at Romford over 400 metres flat. Trying their luck for getting entitled to the £175 prize money are Bantiss Dermot, Droopys Darryl, Rusheen Brave, Millwards
Impact, Aero Trojan and Beat Them Becks.
The most promising entry for the race is the two-year-old, Aero Trojan. The lightly raced dog has been active just five times during the debut season. The young and inexperienced racer has proved himself by claiming two races out of the total five outings
that he undertook.
The two-year-old scored second in a 525 yards race on 26th May, 2012 at Limerick. The race was won by, Rathdromin Babe. Thinking better of it the trainer, Paul Young, drilled the black hound at Romford over 400 metres on 10th July,
2012. He still ended second in the very next career chance.
On 17th July, 2012, Aero Trojan was competing in a 400 metres race at Romford and missed winning by 6 ¾ lengths as Millwards Boom concluded the race in 23.96 seconds.
Two races down the career and Ballymac Ruso’s son made the most out of the third career chance. He won a 400 metres race on 24th July, 2012 at Romford. Being quick to race away after leaving the third stall, taking the middle and then not giving
up on the lead settled the race in 24.46 seconds.
He won by the margin of 6 ¾ lengths and defeated Droopys Sian.
Aero Trojan then took charge of the Coral, Bring It On! Maidens on 3rdAugust, 2012 at Romford over 400 metres. Not waiting for long to race away, he took the middle and then refused to compromise the lead, concluding the race in 24.50 seconds
and winning by the margin of 2 ½ lengths.
Settling right behind the winner was, Taos Options.
The race that was to become the career hat-trick for the two-year-old transformed into a fifth position on 10th August, 2012 at Romford over 400 metres. Early pace and the middle of the track got Aero Trojan the race in 24.57 seconds and led by
7 ¼ lengths.
