Aero Venus to be prevalent in the Stadium Bookmakers Stayers at Oxford
Oxford will host the Stadium Bookmakers Stayers over 595 metres flat on Thursday, 10th May. Contesting for the £150 prize money are Envy Apple King, Blonde Fletch, Head Iton Eoin, Verdun Sunset, Aero Venus and Uncle Des.
One of the most credible entries is Aero Venus, Crash’s three-year-old black daughter out of b***h Rough Venture.
Her seasonal debut was in the Coral Coronation Cup – Heat 4 on 6th January at Romford over 575 metres. The race was won by the 4/5 favourite, Coolavanny Jane, who timed the distance in 35.67 seconds and was followed by Head Iton Tom.
Her first success of the season surfaced on 20th February at Romford in a Grade S1 575 metres flat. She was the 11/8 favourite winner and raced through the track distance in 35.53 seconds. Redhot Ruby concluded the race in 35.67 seconds after
leaping through the 1 ¾ lengths’ gap by which the winner led.
3rd March saw her bagging a Grade S1 575 metres flat at Romford after completing the trip in 36.26 seconds and leading the runner up, Genesis Cougar, by two and a half length.
The 5/2 favourite of the race, Swabys Olly, was the last hound to leave the track.
After missing the next three races, she caught a firm grip on a Grade S1 575 metres flat on 31st March at Romford. Being the 7/2 collective favourite, Aero Venus made it to the other end of the wire in 35.53 seconds. Finishing the closest was
the other collective favourite, Lismadine Sarah.
The third collective favourite, Hitman Ali, ended fifth.
The last three races have seen him stuck to scoring second and then finally winning the most recent outing.
He finished second behind Ardrahan Panther on 28th April in a 415 metres race at Harlow. The winner concluded the race in 26.94 seconds and led by a neck’s margin.
On 30th April, she qualified as the runner up in a Grade S1 575 metres flat race at Romford by timing the distance in 36.30 seconds after the winner, Stockers Lily.
Aero Venus finally won a Grade S1 575 metres at Romford on 5th May by reaching the other end of the wire in 35.93 seconds. This time the 2/1 favourite, Stockers Lily, ended second.
Aero Venus has quite high chances of bagging the race tonight.
