  6. I'll trust a thief before I will trust a  liar.

  7. Same as crying wolf,,I agree

  8. True, because a liar ruins his credibility.

  9. Like the boy who cried wolf, if you lie enough people will get tired of believing you. Besides, don't people who lie have to lie more to cover their lies? At the very least they have to remember whom they told what. Even if the immediate consequences aren't great, it's so much better to tell the truth and get it over with.

  10. If you know some-one has lied to you in the past - how can you tell when they are telling the truth or not?

  11. That is true of a compulsive liar.

  12. All depends on how good they are at telling lies!

  13. once a liar always a liar....they cant tell the difference...

  14. Unfortunately, this happens often.  If you lie often enough, then people can't tell when your telling the truth or lying without proof.  It can be reversed, but takes many years of NOT lying.  What's REALLY pathetic is when a liar doesn't know he's been busted....

  15. nay''

  16. I agree.

  17. I know people like that, you end up doubting anything they say.

  18. Someone once wrote; "It's not that you lied to me, it's that I can no longer trust you".

"One lie doesn't cost you one truth but the truth".

  19. The boy who cried wolf springs to mind.....once a liar , always a liar in my opinion.  White lies are forgivable as to not hurt someones feelings, but whoppers are a no no.

  20. yes, once seen as a lier you lose your credibility.

  21. Once a habitual liar has been discovered as being such, he has lost all credibility and will not be believed at all.

  22. Very True, because he 'will be out of Character'...!!
