  1. Don't take any offense but becoming a part of Special Operations whether it is the Air Force, Army, or Navy is a tough task. Take it one day at a time. Focus on your near-term goals first. Get through AROTC, graduate. Perform well as a student and cadet. This will determine your ranking and branch and thus likelihood of getting a shot at Special Ops as an Officer.

  2. Combat controllers are ENLISTED not Officers.  AFROTC is for people who want to beocme officers.  There is not pre-requisite courses for enlistment into Combat Control.  They teach you EVERYTHING.  The schooling is over a year long.  If you want to be a CCT, go talk to a recruiter.  No college needed.

  3. Air Force Combat Control...is a enlisted job not a officer..You will just have to meet the requirements and it is quite challenging..

You have to be able to swim 500meters less than 14:00min..and if you stop you are disqualified..It isn't easy at all..I promise..unless you swim 30 minutes a day....Trust me I know..I tried out for Pararescue...and the test is the exact...same thing...the PAST test...just look up the requirements..and if you can meet that...then your on your way to become a combat controller....and you will she Iraq..
