has settled in after struggling to cope up with the change in environment.
The Dutchman claimed that he feels good and is regaining full fitness. Moreover, he maintained that he will wait for his opportunity and will try to impress whenever he gets a chance. The winger stressed that he likes playing football
and is desperately raring to help Schalke achieve some silverware this term.
"I'm feeling very well and I'm slowly gaining match rhythm. It's hard to remain patient. I really love the game and I'm raring to go," Afellay was quoted as saying in an interview.
The Dutch midfielder revealed that he understands if he does get regular berth in the side and is ready to prove to the manager that he is ready to start games. He further added that the same case is with the Netherlands team,
as there is so much talent in the country.
"I know that I can add something to the team. I understand the coach's point of view, though. I have to prove my worth whenever I get playing time,” he mused.
