Barcelona faced Rayo Vallecano over the weekend and despite losing more than just two titles over the past week, the Catalan giants still had something to be happy about.
The Dutch youngster, Ibrahim Afellay, who got injured during the start of the season and only managed to pick two appearances this season, returned from his long-term injury and helped Messi in scoring the last goal of the game.
Barcelona won the away fixture against Vallecano with the final score-line 7-0. However, despite such a phenomenal result, Barcelona have almost no chance of winning the Spanish La Liga, with Madrid already being 7 points clear of Barcelona in the points
table.

Second, they saw their injury-hit youngster, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ibrahim-Afellay-c16547, coming making a return on the pitch.
Afellay replaced http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 score his second and Barca’s seventh goal
of the game.
While speaking to the press, Afellay said:
“I really like to play football. I’ve worked hard during the team’s training session and I’m very pleased”
Afellay also took out time to talk about Josep Guardiola. The Dutch midfielder said:
“Guardiola is one of the best managers in the world but Tito is almost the same. They’ve worked together all these years. I believe everything will be the same.”
Barcelona will be facing Malaga as their next opponent in the Spanish La Liga.
