The arctic is one of the most inhospitable environments on the planet. How might global climate change affect industry and travel?

Alright the guy above me makes me mad

photo voltaic cells are actually useless on the large scale. To power the world with the sun it will take approx. the entire north American continent. That is simply stupid.

Wind is useless as well because it is just inefficient, ineffective and yes it does kill birds and bats... approx. 1,000,000 small birds per year. 350,000 bats and 11,200 birds of prey, many of which are endangered species.

Dams are causing buildups of pollution which will ultimately POISON the human populace. I would prefer to be healthy rather than have cheap power thank you very much

Oil drilling is only a short-term solution. Paving the world and destroying natural habitats for the sake of cheap oil won't do a thing. Why not utilize oil shale? We have more oil in oil shale than Saudi Arabia does. Most of Wyoming, the Dakotas, and Montana are covered in the stuff. Why not just go in already developed places and get our oil?

Nuclear power brings radiation that doesn't go  away for MILLIONS of years. Look at Chernoble and Long Island. Look at Nagasaki or Hiroshima!!! Thousands of people have been killed because of the radiation released in these places... and I don't feel like glowing anytime soon. Have you seen how they store the stuff? It is leaking out... not to mention the nuclear fallout in America after the Nevada tests. A few more thousand cancers to add to the casualties. Nuclear power is not the way to go.

Quite frankly... that isn't the way to go. Why not get people to not have six kids? Why not advance our technology so that future generations can't live healthy like we do? I don't want my kids to have to suffer for my mistakes. I don't want to make them suffer because I wanted cheap fuel. The advancement of tech and individual awareness is the only way to go.

When you look at people, and the climate they live in currently, you know that they won't be able to adjust as well as animals can.  Although, some animals won't be able to adjust, and if people don't adjust the vegetation, it won't adabt either.  Someone told me, that the Canada will be like the Carolina's and the Carolina's will be like the Carribean.  There won't be a need for travel.  Everyone will be living where they traveled to in the first place.  Everyone in the north wants to go south to soak up the sun... sooner than later it will happen everyday, then everyone will die from skin cancer... or sevear burns.  Its going to happen, because humans are too greedy to want to better the earth, because they think that they are superior to it... but really, we depend on the earth, the earth doesn't depend on us. Think about it.

Global Warming would have NO effects on Industry or Travel.

If it were to warm - the Arctic would be more accessible to travel.

If Global Cooling were to happen it would shut down quit a large segment of Industry and Travel.

We are just now beginning to feel the results of years of environmentalism with soaring energy costs. This will negatively impact all Industry & Travel to levels you may not understand.

Think of the Environmentalists that are promoting the  'GW' Theory:  

Environmentalists have brought the World:

Shut down oil drilling - North Slope

Shut down oil drilling offshore

Stopped building new refineries

Stopped any new Nuclear Power - except France & Japan

Trying to shut down Wind Farms - It'll kill the birds

Trying to rip out Dams = Hydroelectric Power

They appear to impede Photovoltaic Farms.

If you study their goals and purposes you should see the common theme of DEPOPULATION (EUGENICS) = They want most of the world DEAD to Save Mother Earth.

It might affect it by Gorilla's migrating to the cooler climates of the north and south poles.  A new breed of evil seal clubbing primates will form from the cross breeding of Apes, Vikings, and Polar Bears... kinda like a Bumble
