Affidavit in lieu to contract marriage in phillipines?

hi everyone, first off i already did alot of research on my wedding i am having. i know about the affidavit but no timeframe. i thought could get it in a few minutes or an hour, but i had someone just tell me it will take a few days. anyone know the truth? i getting it in manila at the u.s. embassy then flying out to where my fiancee is

Whether you go to the US Embassy Manila, or the US Consular Agency in Cebu, you should be able to get the affidavit the same day.  You'll need US$55 for the affidavit fee.
