This all depends on what you wish to promote, digital items such as ebooks, software, membership sites etc go to http://www.clickbank.com. If you want to promote physical items then join commission junction http://www.cj.com. The best way to choose your items is to go through the sites and select items you have knowledge on, so if your expertise is on fixing engines choose to promote products related to that topic. Promoting products you know nothing about is harder then the ones you do know about. Hope this helps

Although there are many programs out there I personally have used clickbank.com There are hundreds of information products that you can promote and get anything up to about 75% commission on each sale.
