Ok, there's a little bit of a debate on how Affirmations should be used. Some say that using an "I am becoming ____ (Confident, Wealthy, etc.)" statements are better because these statements don't cause as much resistance in the brain. For example: If you say "I am Wealthy" your BS meter automatically kicks in and says "No, I am NOT wealthy," negating the affirmations. But if you say "I am becoming wealthy" your mind puts up much less resistance and doesn't "rebel" as much to the new statement. After you start becoming more wealthy, you can start to affirm "I am wealthy."

The other side of the argument is that an "I am becoming __" statement isn't 100% in the present tense.

How can someone overcome the little voice that pops in after an affirmation negating it ?
