Afflication, Banned: besides the Emelianenko vs Silva fight, are any of the others worth mentioning?

True fans of MMA know that the Affliction card is stacked full of good fights.....Good luck to the UFC and they impromptu July 19th show.It's not going to pull the kind of numbers affliction is.

They're all great fights, the two i'm looking forward to the most are on the undercard. Buentello vs. Emelianenko and Belfort vs. Martin, can anyone say slugfest? Not to mention my boy Babalu is back in action. Fantastic card.

this is an incredibly star-studded event. even the pre-show has some huge names that would be head-liners anywhere else (Paul Buentello in EliteXC and Antonio Nogueira in the UFC).  this will definately be one for the ages.  This event gives me an erection just thinking of its pure awesomeness!!

also, FYI, the Affliction brand has mentioned that they plan a second event for sometime in October which would include some of this first event's winners; and Fedor and Randy Couture have been talking about fighting in October. So it's pretty easy to assume that Randy and Fedor will be fighting each other at Affliction's second event.

the others are awesome

barnett rizzo is a rematch of one of an incredible fight

and pretty much all the others look to be good too. the headlining fight might very well be the most boring one on the card.

Alovski vs Rothwell looks awesome too, they are both top 10.

Whitehead vs Babalu also is good.

The other fights are also interesting, very big names!

all the fights on this card should be above average...one of the best cards i have seen in a long long time...
