Affliction event will be bigger than UFC??

I hope Affliction event get to be huge as Pride and UFC... I think when UFC bought PRide it bbecame to be a monopoly... hopefully it get to be the best MMA event ever...

The event is full of big names fighting no names aside from

Silvia VS Fedor and Arlovski vs Rothwell the rest of the match ups are lopsided.

Affliction is looking to be bigger than the UFC if Dana doesn't get his head out of his a$$.

I don't think it will be bigger than the UFC. I do agree that the UFC is a monopoly though. The price of pay-per-view has almost doubled in a couple years. In Affliction I'm only interested in Arlovski and Fedor. I think it's a waste of time. I'm watchin FREE Fight Night and reading about Affliction the next day.

They can be successful, but they won't overtake the UFC. The UFC is entrenched in the mainstream now. Their fighters are known by the public. Casual Fans don't know Fedor, don't know Josh Barnett, or even Matt Lindland. And as long as the UFC can afford to offer free pay-per-view caliber events to counter anyone who may be a threat to them, another organization will be hard pressed to find a foothold. With better fighters and better promotion than all of their potential competitors, the UFC is poised to be THE dominant brand of MMA in the U.S. for a long time...

Headline is a another boring Tim Sylvia fight.  UFC needs competition, however this event will disappoint is my prediction compared to the Anderson Silva main event which is free.
