Affliction salaries.?

it was said fedor got paid $300,000 with no win bonus, But before it was said he was not fighting in U.S. without getting $2 million so affliction was going to pay him that. but the salaries were released and he was paid only $300,000 that is garbage tim got $800,000. and randy was crying about ufc offering him the most money.

The total DISCLOSED payout for the event was 3.3 million. Sylvia was paid that big number simply because he's a big name in MMA (whether you think he sucks or not). The only way they were going to pull a big name from UFC to was to make it worth it = $$$$$

Same thing with Arlovski. His pay day was $500k plus $250k win bonus for a total $750k......his last pay day with the UFC at UFC 82 was $170k. That's 4 1/2 times more money!!!

BIG NAMES = BIG PAY DAYS from now on. This is exactly why Dana White is signing ANYONE with a decent name to a 1 year $100k contract to try and keep fighters around. ie Jesse Taylor who was "kicked out" of the UFC only recently and he fought on July 19th!

As far as Fedor's salary. $300k is only his disclosed salary. He certainly will have a commission package that includes percentages of the ppv and ticket sales. Results haven't been release for the ppv sales yet but the UFC is the only venue that has had more than 100k ppv buys......so we'll see.

Basically it's a good time to be a decent fighter with a semi-well known name.

I just read that too, Tim doesn't deserve anywhere near that much money. Until he can put on a good show and beat a qualified HW he shouldn't get more than 150/200k. The fact they paid him 800k is an outrage and Fedor only 300k. But I'm glad to see that Affliction are paying their fighters well compared to U.F.ight.C.heap.

It's pretty safe to say that was Fedors base pay. I'm sure he had a percentage deal with PPV buys and/or gate receipts.

Fedor was given a signing bonus of 1.5 million with Affliction. That $300,000 you see is just for the fight itself. In essence, he has received 1.8 million.  IF Affliction has another show, you will see his salary inflate more.
