Royal Caribbean is pretty good.Did the Med last November. Lots of kids activities so if they're old enough you can leave them. Inside cabins are cheaper and because you're not in the cabin that much, you can save some money. Check out the carnival line.  I went on the Princess Cruise.  On the Plane to Rome I sat next to a family of five going on Carnival.  I love the cruise we went to Rome, Monaco, Naples (Pompeii), Santorini, Delos, Turkey Athens, Corfu, Venice.  We had a Port almost every day.  But if you are embarking from South Hampton you will not have to pay airfair and can save that way.
