Affordable good place to go skiing?

We are a 26 and 27 year old couple looking for nice romantic place to go skiing...WE ARE BEGINNERS...I already checked colorado but it´s a little expensive for us...thanks

Fernie BC is my all time favorite resort especially because of how cozy and CHEAP the lodging is...the fact that the lodge is dog-friendly helps aswell

Pick any hill in Vermont and you can find inexpensive lodging nearby and they certainly understand romantic getaways there....I think they invented the concept

That depends on where you're located(flight cost). I would check into whistler. I found lift and lodging to be the least expensive of all the big resorts but the plane ticket to be slightly more expensive. You can cut the cost by flying into seattle but it adds an extra 2 hours to the drive.

check out tahoe, there are A LOT of ski resorts around the lake, some cheap some expensive, some beginners some experts...

Not sure what is affordable to you, but for all around mountains check it at Mammoth Mountain.
