Affordable hotel rooms in galveston tx?

does anyone have any suggestions for a good hotel thats oon or very close to the seawall in galveston tx, under $100, that are nice and decent...

Holiday Inn is probably your best bet.

There are tons of cheap hotels in Galveston. Be careful what area you are staying in though. You dont want to sacrafice your safety for money.... Good luck to ya!

Under $100 is probably not going to be very safe.  The Commodore is an older motel, try that, or Casa Del Mar maybe.  Both are on the Seawall and I've been to them.  They are ok, but just barely.  There might be a Motel 6 on 61st that isn't too far from the seawall.

priceline a 3 or 4 star hotel first, some parts of Galveston are a little rough.
