Affordable last minute vacation?

PLEASE help me here,

i live in St. Louis,

i would like to go on a beach vacation.

We can't afford something expensive, because we got a new roof this summer and completely refurnished our house.

also, in february we are going to brazil and next summer we are going to Milan and London.

But for the end of the summer, i want to go to a beach in the U.S., or close at least.

i want something VERY affordable, but i still want to get a somewhat nice hotel.

we need a flight and the hotel.

please help !

Near the golden gate.

Take 2 planes if you want to go

there.2 planes dosent cost much.

Or you can go to Alameda, right next to

SF. And there is always France. Argélés Sur Mére

is beautiful.
