Afghanistan Under-19s v Bangladesh Under-19s – Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup (Group B) – Match Update – Afghanistan secure 7-wicket victory

After winning the toss and opting to bat, Bangladesh posted a total of 240 after 50 overs, but owing to rain, the revised target for Afghanistan, as per Duckworth-Lewis calculations, was 220 runs from 42 overs.
Wicketkeeper batsman Afsar Khan (46) and captain Javed Ahmadi (who won the Player of the Match award for his 71) opened the innings for their side, and established a 77-run partnership, which posed a significant threat to their opponents.
