Question

what do i do. i''m gonna be a freshman. and the school has 3 levels and 5 minutes to get 2 and from classes, and i;m worried about upperclass man and pranks.

First of all, don't worry about it. =) I just graduated from high school, so I know what I'm talking about. When I was a freshman, I got to school early on the first day and explored the campus a bit, and found my classes. I wanted to be positive that I wouldn't get lost. This really helped me out on my first day. Before school, you and your friends should agree on a place to meet for lunch. This also helps. As far as upperclassmen and pranks go, you'll be fine. Only the annoying upperclassmen are immature enough to be mean to underclassmen. I'm sure you'll enjoy high school. It's very fun, especially if you get involved with school activities, like theatre or dance. Hope this helps a bit! =)

If Your uncomfortable Just lay low for a while and i guess if your worried about getting to classes on time just make sure you know where your classes are and by the end of the week you have it down and be able to make it to your classes on time.

First off congrats on getting to high school...

I learned that in order to feel great in the 9th grade, come in wowing them yea your the new girl, but you don't have to look it

don't wear new shoes....they stand out horribly

And always wear your hair fixed, not all dolly made up but a nice cut, that always makes you feel better and more productive....

another way to feel good about highschool is a new non kiddie backpack....something that says "Hey I'm not in 8th grade anymore"

Clothes are cool if you can afford it but if not Hair and a new backpack makes a big difference....

Just remember no new shoes!

I'm sure you're gonna be okay.  Older grades never really give any trouble, because everything you're going through, they have as well.  As far as "class switching" goes, you might end up in the wrong class or a little late at first during the first couple of days; that's normal.  As soon as you get in the habit of it, it won't be so hard anymore.  High School is a great experience!

You won't be alone, in fact, you will be surrounded by other freshmen that feel just as you do.  If you get lost trying to find a class, ask for directions, most schools have their staff in the halls the first few days to help out with this sort of thing.  Also, not everybody who is older than you is out to give you a hard time..  You may have to deal with jerks along the way, just don't let them rent space in your head.

Avoid being a victim, the more it looks like things bother you, the more "fun" it is for the bully types.

You will be fine.  Relax.

WOW. I was worrying about the exact same stuff, including the three levels.

My school has three levels too, and I love them! They make it super easy to find your class. The first level has all of the classes in the 100s. The second is in the 200s. And the third is in the 300s.

5 minutes is a lot more time than you think. At first I was rushing to get to class because I thought I had no time, but I was wrong. I still have like 3-4 minutes left!

Upperclass men can't do anything serious to you. They usually don't ever care about freshmen. SUre you'll hear a couple say "Haha freshmen," but besides that, they don't do anything.

Prank...Just don't fall for anything that sounds stupid. If someone comes up to you telling you there is a pool on the roof or something, and you never met that person before, just ignore them.

High school, is really fun, and way better than middle school. The people are a lot more mature, and there is more freedom.
