Tomorrow I'm getting a perm for the first time and I wanted to know a few things about it:

1. How long does it usually take?

2.Does it hurt?{On a scale from 1-5}

3.How long does the perm last?

4.What is the full procudure? ex. washing first etc

There is different types. Light perm. Olive oil perms and even kids. It usually last for three to six months. The odor is too strong so you can always get a light one.PAIN?if you apply Vaseline around your head edges then you won't get burn.The only inconvenience is if you wash it too much it will fade quicker. If you plan to dye your hair wait for three months after the perm.
