  1. It depends on you and your personal preferences and which one you think is a better fit for you.

  2. Hello there, I think you should research and see which sorority fits what you are personally looking for in a sorority, if that's what you would want to pursue. Another way, in deciding this is attending public functions certain sororities will hold on campus. Most likely you will be able to pursue a sorority after your first semester anyway( at some colleges you have to wait a whole year before you can pursue a Greek organization). But I suggest that you take time during your first semester or year to one, make sure you your grades are up to par b/c all BGLO(Black Letter Greek Orgs.) have a certain gpa requirement you must have obtained before pursuing membership....and observe each organization you may have interest in and from there decide which one you would like to be apart of. And I think it will also help if you get involed in other school activities as well(NAACP,Black Student Union, ect. ) It'll be a great way to get to know your other peers and a great opportunity to get invoved in your school and community. Remember being apart of a sorority is no only "a college thing" but a lifetime committment, so I advice you to take time to really see which organization you are wanting make a personal committment to. Good luck and stay blessed! Oh, you can also look each sorority's website to learn more as well.
