African Americans in Brazil?

as a black girl going to brazil are aa thought of as "american" before black or black before american. How are black brazilians treated. Will me and my brazilian (white) fiance run into more problems in brazil then in america?

  2. no. there is barely racism in Brasil. and alot of us are mixed with countries all over the world. its not like America, where you get discriminated for being having a certain skin color. alot of us are in "Pardo" or 'brown' you could say. there are many different ethnic groups in Brasil and they get along very well :) thats what i love about Brasil.  and all african americans there are not like the americans, they do not wear those awful 50 ft. dresses, baggy jeans, etc. none of that. we wear clothes that fit, respect everyone, and there are no differences in style, attitude, etc.
