Hello, I have an African dwarf frog, not too long ago it had red sores all over its body, but i was recommended to get some melafix and put it in a different tank until the sores went away. Well 6 days later, all of the red sores are gone. and i put it back in the tank with the other fish. (the other fish in the tank are 2 orange mollys, and 2 other frogs. All of them are healthy.) Today there is this white fiber-like substance stuff hanging off of the frog. I am quite worried because it doesn't look like the regular 'shedding' that the frogs regularly do. Oh and all it ever does is sits at the top of the tank. The ammonia is in the safe zone and the ph 7.2. Is this dangerous? Should I take it out of the tank again? Is it a precursor to another disease? I will try to put up a photograph.
