Ok so I've had these frogs for a while now. One of them suddenly started laying belly up. I thought he was dying. Then as I poked him, or rather tilted the aquarium, he swum around. Then flipped back over so as to be belly up. Now as I am writing this he is no longer belly up but rather floating near the surface. Is he ok? He's not discolored or anything. Not bloated...

So was he just "playing" as they often do or should I be concerned?

  1. i used to have them they always flip upside down and when they go up to the surface it means that they're hungry or like any other frog needs a little bit of air every once in a while

  2. No u shouldn't b concerned they do that bcuz theyre bein lazy so jus do wat u did and poke them or somthin and sometimes its to show that theyre comfortable.   hope u hav a good day   and take care of him

  3. Mine used to do that too! I would actually have a friend give it Frog CPR and it would come back to life. I think it has to do with water pH or temperature.

Hate to say it, but it finally did die like the way you describe... good luck!
