  1. Find your turtle in here-

    http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/Care/ca...

And there you will get all the information you will need to take care of your turtle.

  2. 1. basically, if it is an adult, you look at the plastron of the turtle (its belly) and see if it is flat or if it caves in a little bit. If it its flat, it is a female. If it is concave, it is a male. This is because the makes belly has to be concave to fit over the shell of the female during reproduction. Males also have long tails, and their butt hole(sorry, i dont know the technical term for it...) is located further down than the female's, again for reproduction. Males are typically larger in size than females.

    2. Although it's not optimum, turtles can go a while without water. They breathe oxygen so it wouldnt be like a fish out of water or anything. However, it might not eat while its out of the water. I dont know exactly how long, but it won't kill it to be out for a few hours or days.

  3. Ive always wanted to meet an African turtle
