*News of Whoopi Goldberg’s ancestral roots in Guinea-Bissau has taken the impoverished West African nation by storm.

      During her appearance on the PBS special “African American Lives,” which featured Dr. Henry Louis Gates tracing the ancestry of several black celebrities, Goldberg took a DNA test to reveal the African origin of her roots.  Goldberg learned that her genetic makeup is overwhelmingly Papel and Bayote, tribes indigenous to Guinea-Bissau.

But, don't just go by the Liberal Mass Media: read books such as:  Mapping Human History: Discovering the Past Through Our Genes by Steve Olson who makes it clear that even the Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert are NOT "PURE", but are mixed with sub-Sahara tribes, Zulu and others.
