  1. More information is needed.  Are you handfeeding?  If you are it's possible you overfed it.  Again more information is needed!

  2. Sounds like you are over feeding him, which can be very dangerous.  It can cause him to choke over the food, and can also cause a stretched crop.  Cut the amount of handfeeding formula to almost half and make sure he has a bowl of pellets he can feed on when he is hungry.  (not seeds)  Pellets are better for a bird than seed.  After you feed him, do not handle him for about an hour.  Please read my profile.

  3. That will happen if you over feed. Reduce the amount and see if it stops.

  4. Baby birds usually need 3 feedings a day of baby formula through a syringe. I had fed my African Grey, video here;

    Usually that means they take 2-3 syringe fulls 3 times a day. Then you go down to 2 feedings a day (one time at AM one at PM) and that will still be 2-3 syringe fulls. Sometimes less, sometimes a little more depending on how much they are eating from pellets, etc.

    Then you get to where they are mostly weaned except needing one feeding a day (usually PM) and they take 1-2 syringe fulls.

    Which period are you at with your bird? I have a cockatoo who is at the one feeding a day stage and a bird 1.5 weeks younger than him weaned long before him so every bird can be different. My birds never vomitted from hand feeding though...

    You may want to make sure you aren't over feeding the baby bird. Sometimes they think they are still hungry and ask for more when their crops prove they are full so pay attention to their crops and what they tell you. Careful not to overfeed.

    Also make sure the food is the right temperature. If it's too cold it causes problems and sometimes the baby won't take it, if it's too hot it will burn their crop and throat and cause even more serious problems.

    You may want to have a vet or breeder finish the hand feeding phase for you - it's not normal for the baby to be puking. More on hand feeding;
