African grey parrot needs to wean! Summer's almost over, and when school comes....?

Question

I can only see it for 4 days a week when school comes in August.

He's about ten weeks and is already expirementing (kinda chewing) with the food, though so far he hasn't eaten it. (same for about 2 weeks already)

So I reduced to two handfeeds/day.

I need to get him weaned before school starts, Help!!!!!!!!

Why can you only see it 4 days?  What happens the other 3 days?  need more information

you should never rush a bird weaning  the greys that i hand fed dont wean till about 6-8 months but to help you can offer alot of warm foods such as yams or oatmeal and make sure to put him out on a playstand with food on it so he can forage for food

you can always work his feeding schedule around your school schedule

didnt the breeder tell you all these things when you got it and 4 days a week is not nearly enough for a weaning baby
