African grey parrot question?

ok so i asked a question earlier and now have orderd a java perch anyways can anyone tell me if i can use the childrens building blocks wich havent been played for in years can i use them to make my grey toys or will the paint dye used harm him they are dyed not painted 1s thanks in advance

  1. It is ok for a child it is ok for a bird.  It is best to make your own toys because sending $5-$15 on something that only cost $2 to make and a bird is going to destroy anyways.

  3. They should be fine because you can buy things like that (wooden blocks which have been died) to actually make bird toys from pet shops......... Try washing them and see if the colour comes runs out.......but if they were intended for use with children they wont contain any harmful toxins anyway..... I hope this helps :-)

  4. I have an African Grey and I use baby toys for her all the time. Just don't use plastic.
