Shahid Afridi has been suspended for two matches (one Twenty20 each against Australia and England) for chewing on the cricket ball in Pakistan’s final ODI match against Australia in Perth during January 2010. The incident was regarded as ball tampering and the stand-in captain received the maximum available penalty for his actions.
