The former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahid-Ali-Khan-c89356 Afridi is extremely happy with the performance of the Pakistan team in the recently concluded Test series against England. He hopes that the Green Shirts will
deliver the goods in the limited overs portion of the series as well.
Pakistan whitewashed England in the three-match Test series and surprised the rest of the cricketing world. Considering the performance of the English team in the recent past and their number one ranking in Test cricket, this was a massive achievement by
the Green Shirts.
Since the spot-fixing controversy, Pakistan has been doing exceedingly well in international cricket and has not lost a single Test series. Afridi has also played a huge role in reviving Pakistani cricket as he captained the national team in limited overs
cricket for a lengthy period of time.
Afridi is proud of the fact that Pakistan team did a splendid job in the longer version of the game and vows that the national team will beat England in the ODI and T20 series as well. Boom Boom feels that winning is a habit and Pakistan team seems to have
developed it.
The former Pakistan captain wants Pakistan to emulate the consistency of the Australian and South African teams.

While talking about his personal form, Afridi is confident of a good showing in the upcoming series and promises to live up to expectations.  
"I am quite positive and Inshallah I will try to deliver and come up to the expectations of the nation," former captain added.
 The first ODI of the series is scheduled to be played on the 13th of February, 2012.
