The player was earlier sidelined for the second ODI, before returning for the series’ decider. However, he injured his thumb while fielding and was subsequently ruled out for the opening two T20Is, with young left-arm spinner, Raza Hassan, taking his place.
In his absence, the Men in Green secured the T20 series with a thrilling Super Over win in the second game at Dubai after the scores had been tied at 151 at the end of the regulation 20-overs (each).
