Afrotc pilots. need help

i want to be a fighter pilot with the usaf and i was wondering what rotc is. what kind of things they do and also how it will help me with becoming a pilot if it does. I want to be a fighter pilot hopefuly

ROTC stands for Reserve Officers Training Corp.  ROTC is usually associated with college.  You join ROTC and take courses in military science and history.  Upon graduation, you get your college degree and a commission in the service of your choice.  Flight training is after you finish college and are commissioned.  I recommend speaking with an ROTC officer at your college or university about the requirements for flight training.
