Can anyone tell me if its worth it to book an aft cabin on Royal Caribbean Voyager ships? I am looking at a junior suite on the Adventure of the Seas. Is the balcony that much bigger than the standard balconies? Is there much noise from the engines below?

  1. This is an excellent site with some wonderful options for you.

  2. You don't worry about pricing when you are paying whole sale for high class accommodation's on Royal Carribean.

Check out our 360 yahoo page to see how!

  3. I don't recommend it. The balconies are bigger, but not by much. Also, with the limited amount of elevators, you are have to trek just to change floors. I would go with Junior Suites near the elevators. It is so Convenient. You'll find them on decks 9 or 10, and a few on 6-8. One suggestion, i recommend trying to find handicap rooms. If they are available, lucky you. They tend to be bigger, with bigger balconies. The showers tend to be strange, but the Spa Showers can be good to. Also as a convenience to the handicap guests, these rooms are near the elevator. You may need a travel agent to get you these. I have been on the Explorer as well as the Voyager. They are great ships, and trust me, being near an elevator, is one of the best conveniences. Good Luck, Have Fun

  4. I had  an AFT cabin a few years ago on Jewel and remember that one day i will sitting on my balcony and we had to turn suddenly to take a sick passenger to an nearby port and remember seeing big puffs of black smoke.  Talk about a good way to ruin an afternoon, it was gross and chased me back inside.  But I love RCCL!

  5. Royal Carribean sucks. I wouldn't book anything on their ships. Almost as bad as Carnival.

  6. It depends. A lot of people love them because of the added space and the view. However, if you're prone to motion sickness, you'll be better off staying midship. There are no elevators close by either, so that's another thing to take into account.

Noise, however, should not be an issue at all.

Please feel free to e-mail me (ebrener57 at gmail.com) if you have any other questions.

  7. If you haven't already, you should go to cruisecritic.com and check out the Royal Carribean message board. I am going on a cruise at the end of the month and I have gotten a lot of great information off of here. I have seen quite a few threads about aft cabins, and from what I can tell people seem to like them!
