hull - didnt expect them to beat fulham

man utd - was expecting a good thrashing of magpies but we all know what happened

chelsea - scolari's first game in charge, gone was the team who plays to win 1-0

im a gooner and all i can say is, if we dont sign alonso we will flop. badly. i dont want barry even tho he did well today because i dont believe he would fit into the arsenal style of play as easily as alonso. i guess newcastle, bolton and hull surprised me the most, simply by winning, (or not losing in newcastles case) and geovanni did very well. tottenham were a disappointment (not that im complaining) because for all the money they spent they couldnt beat middlesbrough. chelsea were very impressive, as were villa, but that was to be expected. i reckon chelsea will win the league and man utd to come 2nd
