  1. i have the same exact feeling. i love roger and wimbledon was his court...but rafa took it.

but roger played amazing...and he had a great comeback...and i am really proud of him for that. in  roger's forum on his official website someone did an interview with him and said roger was feeing better. but i felt so bad when he  was crying  during the macenroe intervew.

go to rogerfederer.com and read some of the comments that the fans wrote. it made me feel good knowing that there are a million upset roger fans all around the world.

  2. I feel a bit sad because he was so close to winning 6 times, but I think Nadal deserved the win. Federer is still ranked at number one - being defeated at the final didn't stop that. I think he maybe needs to accept that soon he might not be number one for much longer.

But he's had such a good time - winning 5 times and soooo good at coping with the press. He does modelling and stuff outside of the tennis world so he still has a career.

  3. no

  4. No I wasn't ever sad, I was happy. I wanted Rafa to win.

  5. yes, i'm still a little sad. =( but we just have to accept it.

  6. I am really sad too....

  7. Nope. 3 days but I'm still happy Nadal won!!  =]

  8. i do, i think that i will be sad for along time. this my first answer after he lost .i couldn't answer any question before now i was feeling so sad . the only thing that could decrease my sadness is watching Roger winning again

the last days were so tough days on me

  9. I am actually happy and sad at the same time.  First of all, felt relieved when I saw some of you do feel the same, kind of mourning for a loss of something intangible.  At the same time, I am happy as we do feel sad for Roger.  Okay let me explain.  Did you feel sad when Roger was trounced at French a month ago??  I didn't.  As it was a very bad loss, even Rafa is undoubtedly the greatest clay player, with his biceps....

I do feel bad as Roger did play an amazing game, and it was just thread-close to make a history.  So, I hope Roger and Rafa's healthy rivalry will keep for a long time, then, we will be able to appreciate their greatness.

Seriously, if anyone did beat Roger without played in Rafa's superman level, I would have been sadder, or disappointed.  Now, kind of hollow feeling, but I am glad they both played in this highest level.

  10. Yes, I am in mourning.  I don't think I'll pick up my tennis racket for another week. but I've been thinking that there are a lot of postives from that match for Roger. he will be okay, he just needs some time and he will be back.

  11. Roger only lost 2 games.

He had so many break point chances, and I think he was getting way too frustrated when he normally stays cool. I think he was losing focus.

Anyhow, I was super bummed. I was extremely bummed at the French, because I was SURE Roger would finally win it. I was so much hoping that Roger would win Wimby again and break Borg's record. Roger will be back, and will be stronger than ever. I think he needs a very good coach who also gives tough advice and better sports psychology. At Roger's level, he needs a whole different perspective than the average coach can give.

  12. I do, I wanted roger to beat the record and wimbledon meant a lot to him.

  13. I was very sad he lost too. He's been a credit to the sport, but at least it was a wonderfull match.

  14. No sorry. However i did feel like this last year when Rafa lost the 5 set battle :) ! Rafa deserved to win, he played amazing tennis from the begining of the match :) Yes Federer did well to comeback but Nadal just outplayed him in the end :)

    Vamos Rafa

  15. i was sad on monday , but i am normal . but whenever i think about it i am sad

  16. i just recover  i think....roger said he will back next yr so as a fan so happy for him...still the same answer will support him all the way.....

  17. for sure.......

its kinda difficult 2 forget ....n tougher 2 digest da  danger n risk dat he has earned 4 his ranking after dis defeat ..

wimbledon meant so much 2 him....

m really sorry 4 him....i couldnt help my tears wen watched him lose cumin so cloze 2 it.....

but he tried well....hes a true champ...i jus wish he wins us open ......fingerz crossd

  18. I'm bummed.

I wanted to see Roger break a record. It is a loss for all of us true tennis fans.

I wonder if Nadal would have won if the court was the same as it had been eons before, instead of being slowed down.  I'm not saying he didn't play well, by far, he played very very well, obviously, so calm down Federer-haters, yet, the FACT is that the court was slowed down. That's definite.  So... the question is... did that benefit to Nadal help him win that tiny margin that gave him the other 2 games.
