2. Well, if you ate sweet. But I think that other foods will not cause cavities after you have brushed your teeth because your teeth still has its maximum protection from cavities. But as time goes by it will eventually wear off.

Just don't forget to drink water after eating!

You should eat then brush and go to bed with a clean mouth and don't forget the tongue cleaner that's the most important thing more important then brushing your teeth because all the bacteria live on the tongue the most.

this is a good question actually. you are probably thinking why do we eat breakfast after brushing but the reverse at night.

brushing before sleep at night is to remove food and dental plaque from the teeth instead of leaving it there through the night, for cavity process can happen very fast when a person is asleep.

this is because there is lesser salivary flow to do the 'washing' and there is no movement of the mouth to achieve the ' self-cleansing' with the cheek/ tongue rubbing against the teeth surface. bacteria would then have undisturbed activities that can potentially results in decay.

so, if you eat after brushing and did not do other additional cleaning, there is certain amount of food stuck among the teeth, you may not know.

it is alright to brush before dinner. it is not recommended to brush immediately after though, for you may remove soften tooth structures. do have a time interval of 40-60mins. It is crucial to brush & floss before bed.

    all the best :D
