It's always happened to me since I was a kid, and it's not a med condition. I was wondering if there was some sort of bug out in the grass that bites you. I cannot see the "bug" or whatever it is, it goes away after about 30 mins. We don't have poison ivy or ants in our yard that are causing it.

  1. Have you been tested for allergies?  Sounds like you are sensitive to the grass or some other plant in the grass (clover, etc.).  What kind of reaction do you have?  If it were bugs (such as fleas which live in grass) you would have welts or bumps like a mosquito bite rather than a rash like an allergy.

  2. so does everyone else just take a shower

  3. If you've been out in newly mowed grass, that could be the cause of your itching. It rubs against the skin and causes some irritation.

  4. Man, there are no bugs in the grass, this is an old thing that has been happening, since all kids have played in the grass.I use to play football in the grass and get tackled and needless to say i would itch also. All you have to do,is take a bath afterwards and the itching goes away.
